Inform all employees, contractors and sub-contractors about the Safety, Health and Environment policy and raise awareness of their environmental responsibilities.
Comply with the applicable environmental laws, regulations and the organizationâ€™s commitments to the environment.
Ensure effective systems, practices and documented plans are in place to manage and mitigate environmental impacts and pollution from our activities by proactively managing risks.
Establish and document processes to identify and manage risks and opportunities for the efficient use of energy and water, manage emissions linked with climate change and reduce hazardous waste.
Ensure that integrated approaches to land use planning and environmental management are implemented in areas where we operate and/or manage to contribute to biodiversity conservation.
Integrate mine closure and progressive rehabilitation into our operational life cycle to minimize our environmental legacies.
Continually strive to improve our environmental performance based on defined objectives and targets for monitoring, measuring and promptly reporting the companyâ€™s environmental and sustainability performance to the stakeholders.
Complement our environment policy with various standards, which serve as a reference to achieve consistent environmental performance in the areas we operate and/or manage.
