120 Residents of Buhut Jaya Village Participate in Free Health Check Program by Agung Bara Prima

Buhut Jaya Village (01/12/2025) – A total of 120 residents of Buhut Jaya Village took part in a free health check program organized by PT Agung Bara Prima (ABP) at the Village Health Post (Poskesdes) and the Auxiliary Community Health Center (Pustu) on Monday (01/12/2025).

This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program provided checks for blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid levels as part of an effort to support early detection of non-communicable diseases.

Since early morning, residents were seen arriving one after another to participate in the examinations. Participants came from various age groups, ranging from adults to the elderly.

Basiran, one of the participants, said that the program was very helpful. “I rarely have health check-ups because of the cost. This is very helpful, especially since the results are available immediately,” he said.

A representative of the Buhut Jaya Village health workers, Windarti, explained that in addition to the examinations, participants also received brief education on healthy lifestyles. “For residents whose test results are outside normal limits, we provide follow-up advice,” she said.

The Head of Mining Engineering, Gatot Ruswibowo, stated that the program reflects the company’s concern for improving the quality of public health in communities surrounding its operational areas.

“We hope this program can continue and strengthen the role of the Poskesdes and Pustu as basic healthcare services at the village level,” he said.

The activity was carried out with the involvement of local health workers to ensure optimal service delivery. Examination results were provided directly to participants for personal health monitoring.
