As a Commitment to Quality, Turangga Resources Expands the Scope of ISO 17025:2017 at ABB & TOP Laboratory

Standardization plays an important role in strengthening product competitiveness. In addition, certification or accreditation plays a role in increasing the acceptance of domestic products in the international market. Quality is one of the main focus of Turangga Resources in deliveringquality products toits customers. One of Turangga Resources's commitments to maintaining quality is to equip itself with Laboratory Accreditation, namely ISO 17025:2017 and appointing The National Accreditation Committee (KAN) to provide accreditation for conformity assessment bodies such as certification bodies, laboratories and testing agencies.

Accreditation provides assurance that the conformity assessment bodies are competent to carry out conformity assessment activities. The accreditation system operated by KAN is also internationally recognized because KAN is a member of the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC), IAF (International Accreditation Forum), and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).

Recently, Turangga Resources has obtained ISO 17025:207 accreditation for PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB). This accreditation complementsthe accreditation previously obtained by PT Telen Orbit Prima (TOP).

The process of obtaining this accreditation is certainly not easy. It takes a long process to achieve these results, including strict assesments carried out by the KAN team. The acceptance of this accreditation demonstrates that Turangga Resources has implemeted all quality handling procedures properly in accordance with international standards.

In this year, Turangga Resources will also complete this ISO 17025:2017 accreditation for its other subsidiary, namely PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (SMM).
