Asmin Bara Bronang Holds Free Medical Treatment for Ring 1 Communities

Kapuas, Central Kalimantan (24/02/2026) – PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB) through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program conducted a Free Medical Treatment activity for the communities of Barunang Village, including Tumbang Mamput Hamlet, Penderawah Sub-village, and Sakakarangan, as a demonstration of the company's concern for public health in the Ring 1 operational area.

The activity, held on February 22–23, 2026, brought in professional medical personnel, including doctors and nutritionists, to provide health examinations and consultation services. This program targeted all levels of society, particularly the elderly, pregnant women, toddlers, and residents with limited access to healthcare facilities.

The medical team provided general health examinations, patient condition monitoring, medication distribution according to diagnosis, and education on healthy eating patterns and disease prevention. The presence of nutritionists provided additional understanding to the community regarding the importance of balanced nutritional intake to maintain immune system and prevent diseases.

ABB CSR representative, Angela Rorezki, stated that this activity represents the company's commitment to supporting the improvement of public health in surrounding areas. "Through this free medical treatment program, we hope the community can obtain easier access to healthcare services and increase awareness of the importance of maintaining health regularly," she said.

This activity received positive responses from the community. One resident, Rusmina, expressed gratitude for the program's implementation. "We are greatly helped by this free medical treatment. Being able to be examined directly by a doctor and consult with a nutritionist is very beneficial, especially for residents who have difficulty accessing healthcare services," she said.

This program aims to improve public health levels, detect potential diseases early, and strengthen harmonious relationships between the company and the Barunang Village community as part of ABB's CSR commitment to supporting sustainable social development.
