Asmin Goes to School Held at SDN 2 Barunang, Brings Fun Learning and Character Education

Kapuas, Central Kalimantan (03/03/26) – In an effort to support the improvement of education quality in the Ring 1 area, PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB) once again implemented Asmin Goes to School program at SDN 2 Barunang located in Tumbang Mamput Hamlet on Monday (02/03/26).

The activity began with singing the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya, together as a form of instilling nationalism values and love for the homeland, then continued with a prayer before starting learning as an effort to build positive habits and students' religious character.

Entering the core session, the learning process was focused on improving reading and writing skills packaged with fun learning methods. The classroom atmosphere was made interactive and enjoyable through educational games, reading together, and simple writing exercises to make students more enthusiastic and confident in learning.

Not only focusing on academic aspects, this activity also incorporated character education such as politeness in interacting, perseverance in completing tasks, honesty when doing exercises, and building self-confidence when reading in front of the class. This approach is expected to shape students who are not only academically intelligent but also have strong character.

ABB CSR representative, Malik, stated that this program is part of the company's commitment to supporting assisted schools through literacy strengthening and character building from an early age. "We want children to not only be able to read and write well, but also grow into individuals who are polite, honest, persevering, and confident," he said.

The Asmin Goes to School activity was welcomed enthusiastically by students and teachers, and is hoped to continue as a form of synergy between the company and school in creating an excellent and character-based future generation.
