Innovation Contingent from Turangga Resources Secured 4 Awards in the TKMPN XXVII 2023

Yogyakarta, November 30, 2023 - Turangga Resources has successfully clinched 2 Platinum awards and 2 Gold awards at the 27th National Quality and Productivity Meeting (Temu Karya Mutu dan Produktivitas Nasional or TKMPN) 2023. This achievement reflects Turangga Resources' consistency in delivering sustainable innovations.

The event, organized by Wahana Kendali Mutu (WKM) in collaboration with the Indonesian Association of Quality Management and Productivity (AMMPI), was attended by WKM Director Damayanti, AMMPI President Suradi, and inaugurated by the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X.

The TKMPN XXVII 2023 event took place from Monday (27/11) to Thursday (30/11) in Yogyakarta, with the theme "Realizing the Golden Generation Through Green Innovation and Productivity." Participants included professionals from multinational companies, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), private companies, government institutions, universities, cooperatives, and non-profit organizations. The TKMPN serves as a platform for sharing knowledge, promoting new breakthroughs, and exchanging experiences in improving the quality, innovation, and productivity of each company. This edition of TKMPN set a record with 183 participating companies divided into 561 teams, totaling more than 2,000 participants.

Turangga Resources sent four representative teams to TKMPN XXVII, all of whom were champions in the Pama Internova and UTVIC 2023 competitions. In the QCP category, The Founders team from TOP, with the innovation of reducing the loss opportunity in the Van Phong project, received the Platinum award. Furthermore, in the QCC category, the D’Barca V team from CSC, with the innovation of reducing demurrage on barges, also received the Platinum award. Meanwhile, two teams were registered in the Design Thinking or Quality Innovation Concept (QIC) category, namely the Macan 2.0 team with the Self Propelled Barge project and the BTS team with the Barge Tracking System project, both receiving Gold awards.
