Lecture and Inauguration of Nurul Iman Mosque: SMM Strengthens Community Worship Facilities in Lemo Village

Barito Utara, Central Kalimantan (10/03/2026) – PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (SMM) officially inaugurated Nurul Iman Mosque together with the Lemo I Village community, Teweh Tengah District, Barito Utara Regency. The inauguration of the mosque, built through the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, took place solemnly on Monday (10/3/2026) and was attended by the Regent of Barito Utara, H. Shalahuddin, along with regional government officials.

The inauguration ceremony, which ran from after Asr prayer until Tarawih prayer, was also attended by the Vice Regent of Barito Utara, Felix Sonadie Y. Tingan, SMM management representatives consisting of Rapinis Mutiara, Muhammad Rum, and Abdul Syukur, as well as various related parties including the Police Chief, Sub-District Head, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Military District Commander, BPD Chairman, and local community leaders.

The inauguration of Nurul Iman Mosque took place simultaneously with the Regent of Barito Utara's Ramadan Safari activity. The main agenda of the event included the mosque inauguration and a grand Islamic lecture featuring Ustadz Muizzudin, a prominent Islamic scholar from Banjar, as the speaker.

Regent of Barito Utara H. Shalahuddin in his remarks appreciated SMM's contribution in building worship facilities for the community. "The construction of this mosque is tangible evidence of synergy between the company and local government in improving the quality of life of the community, not only from an economic perspective but also spiritual," he said.

SMM Director, Rapinis Mutiara, stated that the construction of Nurul Iman Mosque is part of the company's commitment to supporting the development of religious infrastructure in areas surrounding its operations. "The presence of Nurul Iman Mosque is tangible proof of the company's concern for the spiritual needs of the community. We hope this mosque will become a center for religious activities and strengthen Islamic brotherhood in Lemo Village," he said.

The event proceeded smoothly and solemnly. The Regent of Barito Utara together with SMM management and all attendees performed Tarawih prayer together at Nurul Iman Mosque as a marker of the beginning of worship activities at the mosque.
