PT Asmin Bara Bronang Launches Package B and C Education Equivalency Program

Barunang, July 19, 2025 – PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB) launched the Package B and C Education Equivalency Program as part of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment in the education sector. The program launch took place at ABB Smart House, Barunang Village, Central Kapuas District, Saturday (19/7).

The event was officially opened by the Head of Kapuas Regency Education Office, H. Suwarno Muriyat, with the striking of a gong. The event was attended by the Central Kapuas District Head, Barunang Village Head, ABB representatives, community leaders, and dozens of students.

The Education Office Head, accompanied by the Secretary and Head of Junior High School Development Division, expressed appreciation for ABB's initiative in expanding educational access for communities who have not completed formal education.

"This program provides a great opportunity for the community to obtain equivalent education and entrepreneurship training. It is hoped that this will not only improve human resource quality, but also give birth to new MSMEs for local economic growth. This aligns with the vision of Kapuas BERSINAR," said Suwarno.

Central Kapuas District Head, Jhon Sutrisno, also expressed full support. He hopes the community can maximize this program to obtain equivalent certificates and improve their quality of life.

"This is a very beneficial program for Barunang Village residents. I hope community participation can be optimal," he said.

Meanwhile, ABB representatives explained that this program is a concrete form of the company's support for sustainable development, particularly in the education sector.

This equivalency program partners with PKBM Seroja Kapuas, with the first batch consisting of: Package B (equivalent to junior high school) attended by 4 participants and Package C (equivalent to senior high school) by 20 participants.
