PT Asmin Bara Bronang Together with Pujon Health Center Implements Deworming Medication Distribution

Kapuas, Central Kalimantan (03/03/2026) – As a form of commitment to improving children's health around the mining operational area, PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB) collaborated with Pujon Health Center to distribute a deworming medication for children in the company's Ring 1 area. This activity was carried out on February 22–23 and continued on March 3.

This program targeted school-age children and toddlers as a preventive measure to prevent worm infections that can disrupt growth, reduce immunity, and affect learning concentration. The implementation was carried out with direct supervision from Pujon Health Center medical personnel to ensure dosage and medication administration procedures met medical standards.

In addition to distributing deworming medication, the health team also provided education to children and parents regarding the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene, such as washing hands with soap, wearing footwear during activities, and maintaining food and beverage cleanliness.

ABB representative, Angela, stated that this activity is a form of the company's concern for children's growth and development around the operational area. "Through this collaboration, we hope children in Ring 1 can grow healthier and have optimal physical conditions for learning and activities," she said.
