PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral and PT Pamapersada Nusantara Host Mass Circumcision and Free Medical Treatment

Desa Lemo, August 1, 2024 – PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (SMM), in collaboration with PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA), Desa Lemo 1 and 2 Governments, and UPT Puskesmas Lemo, organized a mass circumcision and free medical treatment program in five hamlets: Teluk Lihat, Tangocin, Bamban, Pararawen, and Durian Ramba.

SMM provided primary financial and logistical support, including equipment and medications. PAMA also contributed by providing additional funds and resources. Additionally, the village governments and UPT Puskesmas Lemo ensured that the planning and execution of the event went smoothly.

The mass circumcision aimed to alleviate the economic burden on families, while the free medical treatment included general health check-ups, treatment for minor illnesses, and medication distribution. The event was held at strategic locations throughout the day, allowing all residents to participate without disrupting their daily activities.

This initiative seeks to improve healthcare access in often neglected rural areas. SMM and PAMA together with the village governments and Puskesmas Lemo, believe that this collaboration will have a significant positive impact on the community.

The program not only aims to enhance health but also to strengthen relationships between the community, companies, and government. This initiative underscores the importance of multi-stakeholder involvement in improving the quality of life in underserved areas.
