PT Telen Orbit Prima Laboratory Officially Registered as Environmental Lab by the Ministry of Environment

Kapuas (20/04/2026) – PT Telen Orbit Prima (TOP) Laboratory is officially registered as an Environmental Lab by the Ministry of Environment/Environmental Control Agency (KLH/BPLH) based on Minister of Environment Regulation Number 23 of 2020 on Friday, April 17, 2026. This achievement makes TOP laboratory the first private laboratory in Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan, to receive Environmental Lab certification. TOP's Environmental Laboratory registration covers testing of Mining Wastewater, Domestic Wastewater, and Surface Water (River).

Environmental Lab is a status granted by KLH to laboratories that serve as sources of accurate scientific data for monitoring, controlling, and addressing environmental pollution. Additionally, environmental labs are also used for environmental reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance needs.

To be registered as an environmental lab, companies must have KAN Accreditation (ISO 17025) and submit an application to the Ministry of Environment. The subsequent process includes field audits and technical evaluations for comprehensive checks related to laboratory operations. If the laboratory meets KLH criteria, the company will receive Environmental Lab status through a Decree issued.

This achievement is not only a source of pride for the company but also provides positive impacts for the environment and community.
