Taman Askari: Innovative Green Space and Smart House for Youth Education

Central Kalimantan, March 14, 2025 - Taman Askari, managed by PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB), has become an icon of environmental sustainability as well as an educational hub for the community in Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan. In addition to being a multifunctional green space focused on biodiversity preservation and environmental conservation, Taman Askari also serves as a Smart House that actively facilitates educational activities for the community.

One of the latest initiatives by Rumah Pintar Taman Askari is the Ngabuburit Pintar: Seminar Remaja Batch 2, held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Gedung Wanita Lawang Kameloh, Kapuas. The seminar, which carried the theme "The Importance of Critical Thinking for Teenagers to Counter Hoaxes," was attended by 45 students from various student organizations, regional child forums, as well as youth ambassadors for reading and tourism.

Led by Aipda Sujatmiko Tri M. from the Public Relations Division of the Central Kalimantan Police, the seminar discussed the importance of wise social media use and how teenagers can critically assess the information circulating online. The participants showed great enthusiasm, evident from the many questions raised during the session. The event concluded with a joint breaking of the fast, highlighting the harmony between education, religion, and community.

As part of ABB’s commitment, Taman Askari not only supports environmental conservation but also strengthens the social educational role for a smarter and more responsible younger generation.
