Turangga Resources Cares: Food Aid for Flood Victims in Central Kalimantan

Central Kalimantan, April 23–24, 2025 – Turangga Resources and its partners demonstrated social solidarity by distributing 775 food packages to residents affected by floods in Montallat and Teweh Tengah Districts, North Barito Regency. A total of 150 food packages were allocated to residents of Paring Lahung Village, while 625 packages were distributed to five villages in Teweh Tengah: Lemo I, Lemo II, Bintang Ninggi I, Bintang Ninggi II, and Pendreh.

The floods, caused by heavy rainfall, led to material losses, submerged homes, and limited access to basic necessities. The aid distributed included rice, cooking oil, sugar, instant noodles, coffee, tea, and other daily essentials. Distribution was conducted directly to affected residents, with support from village authorities, Babinsa (Village Security and Development Officers), and Bhabinkamtibmas (Community Police Officers) to ensure the aid reached those in need.

Through this CSR program, Turangga Resources collaborated with its CSR team, business partners, local government, and community leaders to alleviate the burden on residents during the recovery period. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to maintaining synergy with local stakeholders to maximize the positive impact of its CSR efforts.

This initiative received appreciation from local authorities and residents, who expressed gratitude for the company’s assistance. Turangga Resources reaffirmed its mission to provide long-term benefits to surrounding communities, positioning itself as a solution provider in addressing emergencies and social challenges.
