Turangga Resources Empowers Local Women Entrepreneurs Through Packaged Chili Sauce Training in Paring Lahung Village

Paring Lahung, Monday, July 14, 2025 – Turangga Resources' commitment to supporting local community economic empowerment was demonstrated once again through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. This time, Turangga Resources, together with PT Kalimantan Prima Persada (KPP), organized a Packaged Chili Sauce Production Training for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) actors who are members of the PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) group in Paring Lahung Village, Montalat District, North Barito Regency.

The training activity lasted for two days and was held at Paring Lahung Village Hall and the local PKK Kitchen. A total of 33 PKK women participants enthusiastically joined the training, which was divided into two sessions: theory and practice.

On the first day, participants received theoretical briefing on strategies for processing specialty culinary products, tips and tricks for making hygienic chili sauce, as well as attractive and durable packaging techniques. On the second day, the training continued with hands-on practice from the production process to packaging ready-to-sell chili sauce products.

This activity not only aims to improve the skills of PKK women but also serves as a concrete step in opening new economic opportunities based on local potential. The program is expected to become the foundation for developing village flagship products that can compete in the market.

The Village Head of Paring Lahung and the Chairperson of the Village PKK Secretariat were present and expressed their appreciation for the company's initiative in providing attention and real contribution to the village community.

"We are very grateful for the support and guidance from Turangga Resources and PT KPP. This training is very beneficial for PKK women in developing competitive home-based businesses," said the Chairperson of Paring Lahung Village PKK.
