Turangga Resources Group Wins AFC and AGC Awards at the Corporate Affairs Award 2021

Turangga Resources Group started early 2022 with encouraging news at the Corporate Affairs Award 2021 event which was held by PT Astra International, Tbk virtually on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. This event is an event of appreciation for subsidiaries in the Astra Group who have given their best contribution in the fields of environment, health, social responsibility, security and corporate communication.

The awards that Turangga Resources Group has won are in the categories of Astra Friendly Company (AFC) and Astra Green Company (AGC).

In the AFC category, PT Telen Orbit Prima (PT TOP) as a subsidiary of Turangga Resources Group won 1st place in the "Community Health & Wellbeing" sub category. Through Pustu (Puskesmas Pembantu) Break The Limit program, PT TOP carries out a program to increase toddler nutrition and a program to improve the quality of breast milk for the mothers of communities around the mine. This program is PT TOP's flagship CSR program which shows our commitment and seriousness in providing health facilities and access for communities around the mine in remote areas.

While in the AGC category, PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (PT SMM) won 3rd place in the “Safety & Occupational Health” sub category. Through various innovations, PT SMM was able to significantly reduce incidents so as to create a safe and comfortable work environment for all employees.

This award we received is a trigger for Turangga Resources Group to continue to innovate in developing programs and increasing our commitment to the CSR & EHS Program
