Turangga Resources Holds PROPER 2026 Capacity Building to Enhance Environmental Management Competencies

Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan (April 21, 2026) – PT Tuah Turangga Agung (Turangga Resources) organized a Learning and People Development program titled “Design Capacity Building PROPER 2026” at Hotel Luwansa Palangkaraya on April 20–21, 2026. The program was attended by 30 participants from three subsidiaries of Turangga Resources: PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB), PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (SMM), and PT Telen Orbit Prima (TOP).

The PROPER Capacity Building program aims to enhance the team’s competence and understanding Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan dalam Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup (PROPER), in accordance with Minister of Environment Decree No. 1375 of 2025. PROPER is a policy instrument developed by the Ministry of Environment to ensure corporate compliance and performance in environmental protection and management.

Muhammad Sopan, EHS Function Head, stated that this initiative is part of the company’s commitment to integrating environmental sustainability principles into all operational aspects.
“The complexity of PROPER assessment indicators—covering pollution control, waste management, energy efficiency, and CSR programs based on community empowerment—requires both technical and strategic understanding from the entire team,” he said.

The program featured speakers from PT Sucofindo Indonesia and divided the material into two main topics: Green PROPER Achievement Strategy and Gold PROPER Achievement Strategy. The Green PROPER material covered beyond compliance assessment scope, management policies, development of management systems, emission calculations and energy management, biodiversity (KAHAYATI) programs, community empowerment, disaster management, eco-friendly product certification, benchmarking, innovation, and patents.

Meanwhile, the Gold PROPER material focused on the PROPER Gold assessment flow, eco-innovation, social innovation, Social Return on Investment (SROI), child-friendly care programs (Taman Asuh Sayang Anak), and Green Leadership.

This initiative is particularly significant as ABB and SMM recently achieved the Green Rating in the 2024–2025 PROPER assessment period, announced on April 7, 2026. Through this capacity building program, Turangga Resources aims to achieve even higher ratings in future PROPER assessments.

Through this initiative, Turangga Resources reaffirms its commitment to continuously improving environmental performance through eco-friendly technological innovation, human capital development, and collaboration with various stakeholders to create broader positive impacts for both the environment and society.
