Turangga Resources, through its subsidiary PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB), has conducted a series of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs in the Saka Karangan area of Barunang Village, Central Kalimantan. The village is located within the vicinity of the mining operational area, making it a primary focus for ABB's CSR efforts. One of the main programs recently inaugurated is the Permata Bronang Program, which focuses on Water Source Protection and Forestry Plant Conservation in RT 004 Sakakarangan, Barunang.
The program involved a symbolic tree planting ceremony in the water source protection area in need of rehabilitation. Previously, this area was used for rice cultivation by the local community. The event was attended by the President Director of PT Tuah Turangga Agung and PT Pamapersada Nusantara, Mr. Hendra Hutahean, along with the management teams of Turangga Resources and Pamapersada Nusantara.
These programs demonstrate Turangga Resources' commitment to improving the Saka Karangan area. Previously, Turangga Resources and Pamapersada Nusantara conducted electrification programs in Sakakarangan Village, facilitating access to electricity for the local community and supporting socio-economic development.
