Turangga Resources Successfully Secures 14 Awards at the GMP Award 2023

Jakarta, September 29, 2023 – Turangga Resources has once again achieved remarkable success at the Good Mining Practices (GMP) Award 2023, organized by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia. This prestigious event, held at the Bidakara Hotel in Jakarta, coincided with the celebration of the 78th Anniversary of the Mining and Energy sector.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Mr. Arifin Tasrif, emphasized that the GMP Award 2023 is a form of government appreciation for mining companies holding Contracts of Work (KK), Coal Mining Business Work Agreements (PKP2B), Mining Business Permits (IUP), as well as mining service companies holding Mining Service Business Permits (IUJP) that have made efforts to adhere good mining practices.

Turangga Resources clinched an impressive total of 14 prestigious awards during this event. The awards were distributed across various aspects, as follows:

• Technical Mining Aspects: PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB) achieved the Aditama Predicate and received the Best of The Best Trophy for the Application of Technical Mining Aspects. Meanwhile, PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (SMM) obtained the Utama Predicate, and PT Telen Orbit Prima (TOP) received the Pratama Predicate.
• Mineral & Coal Conservation Aspects: PABB and SMM both secured the Aditama Predicate, whereas TOP attained the Pratama Predicate.
• Mining Safety Aspect: ABB and SMM earned the Utama Predicate, with TOP receiving the Pratama Predicate.
• Environmental Aspect: ABB received the Aditama Predicate, while SMM was honored with the Utama Predicate.
• Mining Service Business Management Aspect: SMM achieved the Utama Predicate, and ABB received the Pratama Predicate.
