Paring Lahung (01/09/2025) - Infrastructure serves as the backbone of rural community welfare. The availability of proper road access and bridges not only facilitates citizen mobility but also promotes efficient agricultural distribution and strengthens social bonds among residents. Understanding the importance of such infrastructure, Turangga Resources allocated IDR 171,350,000 through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to support the construction of Sei Bakuan Bridge in Paring Lahung Village as part of the company's infrastructure CSR pillar.
The condition of the old Sei Bakuan Bridge, which was no longer suitable for use, had long posed a serious obstacle for the Paring Lahung Village community. Particularly during the rainy season, transportation access became increasingly limited and posed high risks to residents' safety. This condition not only hindered daily community activities but also impacted the village's economic and social activities as a whole. Through CSR support from Turangga Resources, the construction of the new bridge is expected to resolve these access issues while sustainably improving the community's quality of life.
The presence of the new Sei Bakuan Bridge brings significant transformation to the lives of Paring Lahung Village residents. Community mobility to essential facilities such as schools, health centers, and markets has now become safer and more efficient. The agricultural and plantation sectors, which constitute the main livelihood of residents, also experience positive impacts with harvest distribution that is now smoother and more timely. This directly supports increased income and local economic stability. Equally important, this new bridge strengthens inter-village connectivity, opening opportunities for broader social interaction and reinforcing community cohesion.
As a company operating in the region, Turangga Resources understands that the progress of surrounding communities serves as the foundation for long-term business sustainability. Therefore, every CSR program is designed to create positive, sustainable, and measurable impacts. Sei Bakuan Bridge is not merely physical infrastructure, but a symbol of new hope for Paring Lahung Village's advancement. With improved access, the community can now optimize their economic, educational, and social potential.
The success of this project is expected to serve as a catalyst for other development initiatives, realizing the vision of an independent, prosperous, and sustainable village. Turangga Resources is committed to continuing to accompany this development journey, ensuring that every social investment delivers maximum benefits to the community.
